THE ISSUES TODAYS BUSINESS OWNERS FACE
Below we have compiled two lists of the most common issues that can become a hindrance or problematic, and every entrepreneur in the hospitality industry will be required to address. By no means are these lists complete with every issue that will arise on a day to day basis and I'm sure many of you will be able to easily add to this list. We did however separate our issues into two categories. The first list, we refer to as CORE ISSUES. Core issues are situations that every brick and mortar entrepreneur will eventually have to resolve. These issues, while some can be confusing, are for the most part easily accomplished and pretty straight forward as to how they can be accomplished. We can help you locate many of the officials or municipalities in your city with whom you will become very familiar. And for the most part we have found the majority of the clerks and regulation officers to be very professional and polite so don't be apprehensive. They are actually very helpful. The second set of issues can actually be considered more of a problem and are the main culprit for the demise of the majority of restaurants, bars and clubs who eventually close. We call these COMPLEX ISSUES. Issues that fall under this category are a totally different monster. Complex issues can destroy your public reputation, place your business in violation with local and state authorities, cost you your family or even be as tragic as to effect and individuals health, cause someone injury or even be as extreme as to cost someone their life. So remember, pore ownership or improper management can result in much worse than you losing your business. We will give you the advice and tools to give you the best chance to prevent any of these from effecting your customers, staff, family or business. The majority of these issues must be dealt with in the spur of the moment and requires a very quick thought process. You and your management must be able to make very quick, impulse decisions and be capable of making an intelligent analyzation of the situation, threat and judgement of characters.
